Elizabeth Simon is a storyteller at heart. A native of Ohio now living in sunny southwest Florida, she began writing stories as a teenager, scribbling characters and plotlines between homework and youth group. Life took her down a different path—into the world of accounting, corporate compliance, and risk management—but the love of storytelling never left her.
For over two decades, Elizabeth built a respected career helping organizations uphold ethics and integrity. She’s been a featured writer in Compliance & Ethics Professional and Fraud Magazine and has spoken across the country on doing what’s right—even when it’s hard. But behind the spreadsheets and boardroom presentations, a deeper calling stirred: to tell stories that wrestle with truth, faith, identity, and redemption.
Her debut novel, Barren, is the first in a powerful series that blends Biblical themes with timeless struggles—legacy, betrayal, love, and the search for belonging. Inspired by her deep study of Genesis and authors like Francine Rivers, John Grisham, and Karen Kingsbury, Elizabeth writes with both heart and grit, weaving suspense and spiritual insight into every chapter.
When she’s not writing or leading in the corporate world, you’ll find her reading, reflecting, or walking near the water, dreaming up the next story that just won’t let her go.
